This delicious vanilla and candy creation is drizzled with edible dust or sprinkles for its finishing design. This is the perfect dessert for your New Year’s Eve celebration! These Champagne Truffles do not require baking and are the perfect dessert to end your year and begin a new one.

The ingredients you need to create this dessert are vanilla sandwich cookies, vanilla frosting, champagne, candy melts, and edible dust or sprinkles. This is a quick and easy dessert to make, requiring only five steps and no baking. Ring in the New Year with this delicious and perfectly designed dessert.

The steps to create Champagne Truffles:

Step One: Place a package of vanilla sandwich cookies into the food processor. Blend cookies into a powder like consistency.

Step Two: Mix about ¼ cup of vanilla frosting and ¼ cup of your favorite champagne into the blended vanilla cookies. You can add more or less frosting and champagne until ingredients reach a cookie dough like consistency. You can also add a ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract if you prefer a stronger vanilla flavor.

Step Three: Take a spoonful of the mixture and make cookie balls that are about 1 inch in diameter. Place in the refrigerator for about an hour once all the cookie balls are created.

Step Four: Melt 3 cups of candy melt chips in a microwave or over a stove top and dip the refrigerated cookies into the melted candy. Let extra dip off of the cookie ball.

Step Five: Place all the dipped cookie balls on a cookie sheet and cover with edible gold dust or sprinkles. Refrigerate for about an hour until they set.
