From our candy cakes, un-cupcakes and delicious, edible gifts, there are many unique, artfully decorated and tasty choices to bring a little happiness to your Mother’s Day! Each day there are new and creative desserts to choose from at our store as well as rich chocolates for purchase. Candy Cakes can be ordered in the store or online. Just last year our Mother’s Day Cake made a grand appearance. This eight inch chocolate cake is surrounded by Kit Kats, layered in frosting and sprinkled with candy, creating a picture perfect cake for that special mom in your life! We are having a Let’s Celebrate Mom weekend on Saturday, May 12 th from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sunday, May 13 th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.! Sweet Equations was on Better Connecticut yesterday showcasing some spring dessert inspiration! The Flower Chocolate Covered Oreo Pops are a sweet treat! These Oreo cookies are placed on a lollipop stick and covered in delicious, creamy chocolate and decorated with your favorite candies! Make this treat a special spring or Mother’s Day gift by adding a bouquet of Flower Chocolate Covered Oreo Pops, which then can be placed in a vase, creating the most beautiful and edible gift for the spring season! Sade, owner and dessert extraordinaire, taught Scot Haney and Kara Sundlun how to make this delicious dessert on Better Connecticut! First, you need an Oreo cookie, a lollipop stick and melted chocolate. Once the chocolate is melted, place the lollipop stick in the chocolate and insert into the Oreo cookie. At Sweet Equations we appreciate customer feedback and often create new desserts based off this feedback! We enjoy having our customers be apart of our dessert creations! This year we will be featuring a few Sweet Equations VIP experiences, including becoming a Sweet Celebrity! This experience includes a candy or cake that will be named after you and this will be featured on our menu for all our customers to see! There are two packages that allow you to be apart of our dessert decision making process! The first package for the Sweet Celebrity is called a Sweet Feature. This package allows you to work with Sweet Equations to launch a new cake named after you. The cake will be featured on our menu for up to six months! In addition, you are able to choose one ingredient from our menu to include in your artfully decorated cake.
